Student Parliament Bake Sale

The student Parliament bake sale was a huge success.  The students raise $582.30 for the Eric Walters Charity, “Creation of Hope”, which supports children and villages in Kenya.  This is another great example of our students putting thoughts and words into action to make a difference in the world.

A quick reminder about our student initiated and run bale sale tomorrow.  The student parliament has been busy baking some simple items to sell tomorrow at their bake sale.   They will be going to each individual classroom selling items for 50 cents.   All the money will be donated to the charity “Creation of Hope,” which was founded by author Eric Walters.  There will be a cake raffle and all the ballots will cost $1. We have calculated that if every child brings in 50 cents we will raise $150 dollars!  Student Parliament is excited and proud of their initiative to support such a worthy cause!
