Dec 11, 2017
Dear Parents, Staff and Students:
It’s that time of year again when we prepare for Christmas Festivities. In keeping with the annual tradition at Holy Family, we will again be serving the students and staff a hot turkey dinner complete with all the fixin’s on Thursday December 21, 2017! In the past, this lunch has been made possible due to the hard work and dedication of our generous volunteers.
We are looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks including your culinary skills! If you’re willing to cook a turkey or potatoes or if you could help serve lunch on Thursday December 21st, you’re just what we need. All of the food items will be supplied. Volunteers simply pick them up at the school, cook them at home and bring them into the school on Thursday morning.
Perhaps another family member such as Grandma or Grandpa could lend a hand? Don’t be shy! We would love your help…..Please contact our volunteer coordinator indicating how you can help by Friday December 15th.
Your child will be asked to bring their own plate, cup, cutlery and serviette for this dinner. A reminder will be sent be sent home next week. Thank you for your help in making the Christmas Lunch a huge success.
If you have any questions, please contact Sabrina Henhoeffer email@example.com or our Volunteer Coordinator Michelle DeMelo firstname.lastname@example.org
A reminder letter will be sent home this week with the youngest or only child.
